Bridge Day Camp 2018

Bridge Day Camp 2018

Learning to play bridge is more than fun and games.  Bridge helps students develop problem-solving skills as well as social skills.  Studies have shown that students who play bridge practice math and reasoning skills, and perform better on standardized tests than those who do not.

Additionally, because players work in a partnership, students learn to value teamwork.  Playing bridge may also help to improve memory later in life.

Seattle Bridge Day Camp 2017 is sponsored by Bridge for Youth, a non-profit organization, with assistant from Seattle Bridge Unit 446. The beginner level program will run July 9th through July 13th, from 9:30 to 3:30.  The advanced level program will run July 16th through July 20th, on Saturday July 21st we will be having a camp celebration, open to all campers and their parents (or other relatives).  More details on that to follow.

The camp will be located on Mercer Island, in the lower level of the Island Congregational Church, 4545 Island Crest Way, Mercer Island, WA 98040.

The camp will cost $125 per 5-day session, all instruction and materials included. Adding a second week or additional participant will cost $100.
